greetings from another teacher... a relief teacher haha!

hello i guess im gonna be the only one blogging here for the last time right?

okie for those of you who don't know, im actually relief teaching back at my secondary school. :)

so how has life been since we finished our A's?

oh well life has been good.

i got to procrastinate all i want
catch up on exercise that i missed during the whole studying period
catch up with the good ole friends whom, once again missed during the studying period
got to eat lots and lots of good food
got to go on lots of outing
got to learn a lot of new things
went back to yoga classes
had fun teaching some of my classes. dun ask me whether its my calling cos i reali dont know ;)
learning driving. awesoome fun. LOL.
earn $$$$ and splurge happily
shopping shopping and more shopping!

yup. ive basically enjoyed these past 3 months of freedom. but my job is something which i rather enjoy so im thankful that i went for the relief teaching job. i just get this sense of satisfaction whenever i finish a class. of cos there were ups and downs and student management is reali one tough thing to do. so kudos to ms huang who had to endure all our yakking durin class >.<

i celebrated both life, and death right around my 19th birthday. it is something thats probably gonna be etched in my mind for awhile. but jaclyn left us fond memories of her really and yes, it may still be painful for some of us, but at least we know, she's probably in a better place now :)

ANYWAY. erm results. hahah GOOD LUCK PEOPLE. realise the taking of the results is the final end to all that you have to JC?

we can really bid farewell to the two years that we have put in

our blood, sweat and tears, literally.haha

i miss crapping with everyone duing break
i miss the smell of LT 5
i do not miss the fried charcoal aka char kway tiao
i miss good news cafe
i miss sleepy lectures
i do not miss tests

hahhaahah. okay basically i miss the routine of school and friends. but its okay. moving on is good so long as the connection and contact between u and ur good friends arent broken

so i say thank you to everyone in 36 for making my time in AJ an exceptional one

cryptic title for this entry is maroon 5's album name. i'm not exactly sure what it means really, but if anyone would care to enlighten me, i'll be all ears :)

just thought of it because i was thinking about next fri, when results are supposedly going to be released.

most of you would be worried. please know it's perfectly normal. i was a bundle of nerves myself back then when i was awaiting the release of my results.

well, also remember it can't change a fact now so quit worrying yourselves sick!

it also seems that some of you are secretly worried about disappointing me.

let me say here that i'll be happy if you're happy with your results. maybe you think i have unrealistic expectations no thanks to my 'ra-ra' background, but the truth is i have tempered my expectations somewhat and my only wish is that each and every one of you get into a university course of your choice.

that's all i ask for. really.

but, in life, not everything goes according to the way you want it, and i've walked this earth long enough (yes yes i'm over the hill by now) to accept that.

when life throws you a curveball, it upsets your plans, throws everything into disarray, you cry, there's some guilt, some regret..but that's not the end of the story is it?

you just got to pick yourself up, find yourself a new storyline and make the best of it. if given lemons, make lemonade! :)

i do hope though, you realise by now, or later, why i was pushing you guys so hard - it wasn't about getting the As. i just didn't want any of you to regret anything next friday..because i know that's a v horrible feeling.

so go on out, live your life the way you know you should yeah?

the other thing i want to say is, i've met all my new classes. i've also come to the conclusion that it was a good thing they did not give me a PD class. somehow i feel like i'm cheating on you guys if i start loving my new class! :) i came pretty close to 'falling in love' with this particular class, but as destiny would have it, i'm not even their geog tutor. bah.

so be happy, you're still my favourite class :)

the last thing is, always remember we ARE 20 people who were together for two years. someone we love very much might have left us a little too soon... but we will always keep her with us in our hearts.

i was driving home one day last week feeling so so so tired when i saw the beautiful rainbow. it was a complete one, not those half past six broken ones.



always remember to find joy in the littlest things in life!

was just wondering if this blog will breathe its last in 2009, after all the title says "20 people who are together for two years"...what happens after two years?

hope you guys are enjoying your holidays. see i told you once the A levels are over, you can do WHATEVER you want and i won't nag. it's been 2 months 2 weeks...wonder what you guys are up to. hard at work earning some dough? are you missing school? usually when people start working, they realise being in school is tons better :)

as for me, well i am missing 36. i'll get a new class this year, so i'm crossing my toes they are as lovely as you guys :p

i'm currently having a good time because the students have not reported yet...guess it'll be payback time when they finally report mid feb.

and how do i pay jalene her $10? don't really want a pig's head hung on the gates of the school with my name written in perhaps yellow paint..hey, that's the college colour so may not look that bad huh.

main dishes- roast chicken with thyme and rosemary with vegetables
shepard's pie (pork) with mozerella cheese
linguine with bacon and mushrooms in tomato sauce
roasted ham coupled with pineapple chunks
drink- lychee spirits (something i whacked up.)
dessert- cookies made by HUANG WANXIN.
